Welcome! What happens when a family trades security for the unpredictable, the ordinary for the unconventional?

It seems a long time ago now that we bought an old Toyota Landcruiser and headed north to Cape York… out-of-doors, out of our comfort zone and outside the square. We had something like a plan, yet life has taken some unexpected twists and turns…I wonder what the future will bring? Why don’t you join us and see?

To us sleeping outside is one of the highlights and adventures of travelling and camping as a family. As well as being out there and exposed to nature we are sometimes exposed to the view of other people who may be camped nearby in caravans, tents or motor homes.
